המס השנתי על נכסים בוטל. מה שנשאר הם עלויות שוטפות: חשמל (תעריפים משתנים לפי צריכה ומיזוג), מים, אגרות עירוניות מקומיות, דמי ועד בבניינים משותפים, ביטוח מבנה/תכולה, ולעיתים גינון או בריכה. בבית חוף או דירת פריים עם בריכה ומעלית העלות השנתית שונה מאוד מדירת עיר פשוטה.
